Short about Organization

The legal name of the institution is 'The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation'. The name we use on a daily basis is 'Royal Danish Academy - Architecture, Design, Conservation'. The institution is managed by a Board, which is responsible for promoting the institution's work and defending the interests of the institution as an institution for artistic education and research.

The Board is accountable to the Minister for Education for the institution's overall business and the rules laid down for the institution.

The Rector of the 'Royal Danish Academy - Architecture, Design, Conservation' is Lene Dammand Lund and the Vice-Rector is Svend Lawaetz.

In addition the strategic management consists of a Head of Education, a Head of Research and three academic heads from the different subject areas.
