3D Workshop

We had a 3D printing workshop where we explored the pliant social matters and material networks linked to the fabrication of evocative forms and conversational objects. 3D printing is a plastic practice both in its material matters of concern and as a burgeoning social movement in the making. Together we sketched, drew, digitized, refined, melted, extruded, formed and fabricated ideas while collectively feeling out the digital and corporeal affordances of 3D printing as a communicative capacity and translational technique. Between digital matters and physical matters, pixels and pieces, conversions and conversations, we followed the flows of things in transition as we shaped and made public, social interventions with new tools.
