Renewable energy could meet our needs, but what do we do when the sun doesn’t shine? Storing renewables as hydrogen makes electricity available at all times.

Producing or consuming hydrogen is carbon free. In this project I collaborated with Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. They have shown how hydrogen cars can store electricity and convert hydrogen into electricity to power the grid: Vehicle2Grid. 

With autonomous driving, the car can transport hydrogen (and us) like millions of power banks on wheels. Creating a distributed energy resource that could respond to the needs of the grid. Making the car of the future into a power plant.

My design is a hydrogen car with a mode of expression that communicates  "hydrogen”. It is packaged to fit hydrogen hardware and designed around the best position for autonomous gear, making it stylish to drive hydrogen cars.
