Best Nordic Talent for Fashion Film

MA student Mathias Brochorst wins Best Nordic Talent at Copenhagen Fashion Film Festival 2019 with his fashion film “Ornamental”. The film cross-cuts between the hands of a taxidermist’s working on a bird and the hands of a designer working on a suit. Breathtaking.

Mathias describes the film as a ”visualization of a mental state. To lose yourself in devotion to someone. To be left in fragments. To be reassembled by unfamiliar hands.”

Mathias will be graduating this summer.

Copenhagen Fashion Film (CFF) focuses on the close connections between fashion, film and artistic practices. CFF consists of an annual film festival, independent film screenings, debates, events and exhibitions.
