Go watch the exhibition of MA Fashion Design students inspiration from the Islamic Art at David's Samling this week. The exhibition will be disposed during week 42 in the autumn break.

The exhibition opened during Culture Night last friday the 12th of October as the culmination of the course taking inspiration from Islamic Art as foundation for making fashion design. In total, 16 different creations taking inspiration from miniature painting over glass and ceramics to big woven carpets are displayed in the Islamic Art department linking the garments to their original source.

As part of the design project students were introduced to working with Fashion Film portraying their fashion design in a film.

The exhibition is a succesful continuation of the collaboration with David's Samling in 2017 showing both garments and film.
