Graduate student Domantas Smaizys shows his collecction 'A Memoir' at BLOX. He describes the work like this:

"The collection explores my journey of self-discovery during my childhood and youth in Lithuania. Each outfit visualizes a stage in discovering my sexuality - working from a state of melancholy towards a sense of empowerment. Themes in the collection are emotional danger, the death and re-birth of physical being a aspirations.

'A Memoir' is an aesthetic interpretation of the personal development of uncovering my sexual identity. The collection offers an emotional palette of sensitivity that follows poetic stages from discovery to departure"

The project was inspired by UN Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality.
