From ten sacks of discarded garments, second-year KADK fashion students created 20 outfits that were shown by a diverse crew of street-casted models at a charity catwalk event.

The music was created especially for the event by Prathibha Madsen and was hosted by Caritas Danmark, a catholic organization working with humanitarian aid projects in Africa.

Sales from the upcycled, re-fashioned and secondhand items raised funding that will help establish vegetable gardens for school children in Uganda.
