REMOTE: Rethinking Remoteness and Peripherality

Description: Remote is a conference about remoteness and peripherality, understood as a spatial figure, where researchers from many different disciplines meet; designers, humanists, anthropologists and the like. It took place in Longyearbyen in wintertime in order to enhance the feeling of remoteness among the participants. Key note lectures, paper presentations and excursions.
