On Philosophy and Aesthetics

Unlike other forms of Speculative Realist philosophy, Object-Oriented Ontology (OOO) sees aesthetics as deserving of a very high status in philosophy. For OOO, philosophy is closer to the arts than it is to mathematics and the natural sciences. In this discussion, I will talk about some of the implications of OOO for present-day art and architecture.
