Danish students in joint campaign at this year’s edition of Ventura Lambrate

The School of Architecture and the School of Design present new Danish furniture design at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan from the 9th of April – 14th of April. To promote the Danish pool of talent the two schools exhibit together with Kolding School of Design and School of Architecture Aarhus.

Danish design is something special. When Milan Furniture Fair (Il Salone) buzzes of visitors from all over the world a total of three Danish educational institutions will be ready to promote Denmark’s abilities as incubator for innovative and experimenting talents.

The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Architecture and Design, Kolding School of Design and the School of Architecture Aarhus are all part of the innovation network Innonet lifestyle – Interior & Clothing, and the three institutions have set up a number of joint activities to direct attention to the new Danish talents in Milan.

In Milan, students from the School of Architecture and School of Design will present the project TYPE, a workshop where architects, designers and graphic designers have worked together side by side developing wooden chairs, graphic material and even their own exhibition design for the furniture fair.

TYPE is formed in collaboration with leading Danish companies.
