On 7-8 May 2015 The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture is hosting the conference: ”Housing and Welfare: Boundaries| Encounters| Connections” presenting Copenhagen tomorrow.

What will Copenhagen look like in 5, 10 and 15 years’ time? What is the future of the city as a residential city according to the projects that architectural firms are designing right now? And what role does housing play in a city and a welfare society that are undergoing change?

 

The conference will take place: on 7-8 May 2015 at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation. 

The conference will include 4 dialogue-sessions, where practitioners in dialogue with researchers will present and discuss architectural responses to societal transformations through specific projects.

The School of Architecture will at the same time be hosting the exhibition Housing and Welfare – Homes|Ensembles|City presenting Copenhagen tomorrow – seen through pending projects from leading Danish and international architect practices and research institutions.
