Institute of Architecture and Design, KADK, invites you to the International Lecture Series Fall 2018/Spring 2019 "The Room of Things".

“The Room of Things” will be discussed in relation to Judith Clark’s work over the last 20 years as a curator and exhibition maker in the field of fashion. She will talk about her shifting research preoccupations both derived from working within specific designer archives, and from putting together thematic exhibitions in European museums. Clark will talk about the moment of translation from archival research to a narrative made of things. The things that will be the focus of her discussion will be fashion/dress but also the styling, set and props that she designs within her exhibitions.
