Scandinavian countries responded quickly and methodically when climate change became highlighted as the main international environmental agenda decades ago.

CINARK is hosting a debate that addresses essential aspects of sustainability in architecture and planning - approached from diverse perspectives that exemplify the breadth and depth of explorations underway in Scandinavia today.

The debate is held on the occasion of the booklaunch of 'Sustainability in Scandinavia - Architectural Design and Planning', which is the result of a collaboration between Professor Ali Malkawi (CBCG, Harvard), Professor Marius Nygaard (AHO, Oslo), Associate Professor Erik Stenberg (KTH, Stockholm) and Professor Anne Beim (KADK - CINARK).

Ali Malkawi, CBGC Harvard
David Leatherbarrow, PENN Design
