A workshop collaboration by CITA and Shenkar College of Engineering and Design

Interdisciplinary workshop for professionals and students in architecture, robotics and textile design. The course was based on the research project Listener. Through introduction to parametric 3D modeling, programming, robotics and textile design, participants were asked to design their own performative materials for use in architecture.

The course took a starting point in the interface between parametric design programs and machine code which we developed for the Listener Project. By opening up the project for students the goal was to provide access to core project issues, techniques and technologies.
