Nicolai Bo Andersen is an architect and professor at the Royal Danish Academy – Centre for Sustainable Building Culture. He has studied at The Cooper Union, New York, and graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in 1998. In his teaching, research and practice, a critical question is how a phenomenological, first-person aesthetic experience may inspire ecological awareness and protection of the environment while respecting the planetary boundaries. He is head of the master’s degree programme Sustainable Building Culture, and head of the Centre for Sustainable Building Culture at the Royal Danish Academy – Institute of Architecture and Culture.
