KADK students demonstrate against education cuts

Along with thousands of other young people, KADK’s students demonstrated against the government’s plans for radical cuts to the education budget.

Rector Lene Dammand Lund opened the afternoon’s proceedings by talking about the consequences of the government’s announced 8% savings to education as a whole and the further 30% to KADK's Design and Architecture programs.

A great many of KADK’s students gathered to make their views known. Signs and banners bore the slogan ’To the barricades: it’s about your education!’ while a mobile pavilion was hauled all the way from KADK to City Hall Square, where the demonstration took place.
