New Head of Institute for the Institute of Architecture and Design

A woman is moving to join both architects and designers. On 1 April she will take up the position of the new Head of Institute for KADK’s Institute of Architecture and Design. Irene Lønne is a graduate of the Aarhus School of Architecture and holds a PhD in Strategic Design from KADK. 

The appointments committee were unanimous in their choice of Irene Lønne as the perfect candidate for the job of leading KADK’s interdisciplinary Institute of Architecture and Design. Irene Lønne is a graduate of the Aarhus School of Architecture and holds a PhD in Strategic Design from KADK. For the past three years she has been Head of Research at Design School Kolding, while also working professionally as an architect and designer.

Mathilde Aggebo, Head of Subject in the School of Design, looks forward to welcoming the new Head of Institute: “I am sure that as Head of Institute Irene Lønne will be brilliant at the job of leading this interdisciplinary institute.
