Students of Industrial Design and Ceramic Form exhibit their redesigns of musical instruments

From Monday, 12 June, students of Industrial Design and Ceramic Form exhibit their takes on redesigning musical instruments.

Here's what they played with:
Guitar, violin, double bass, saxophone, vibraphone, electric guitar, hang drum, oud, synthesizer and glass harmonica.

The new instruments have been designed in collaboration with experienced musicians. The students' primary focus was on changing the interaction between musician and instrument through experimenting with shape, function, tactility and materials.

See the new shapes and hear the music play!

On display until mid-August at the KADK Library, Danneskiold-Samsøes Alle 50, 1434 K.
