Start of the 2014 academic year
On Monday 1 September, KADK will celebrate the start of a new academic year. We warmly welcome students and staff, both old and new, to a new year, which will be characterised by major changes.
Olafur Eliasson a guest speaker
The ceremonial hall on Holmen will be the venue for the opening party, at which the Chairman of the Board, Johannes Due and the Rector, Lene Dammand Lund will bid everyone welcome. This year’s guest speaker will be Olafur Eliasson.
It will mark the start of a new academic year, which will involve major changes for KADK. From the start of this academic year, the Schools’ previous institutes and specialist areas will be replaced by 7 new institutes, which will consolidate teaching and research in 7 areas, offering teaching at both undergraduate and post-graduate level.
The institutes will consolidate KADK’s programmes, research and development environments in 7 academic units, which correspond to the subjects’ academic challenges, and which will pave the way for close interaction with practical work
