Students Create Better Living Conditions at Refugee Centres

Creative and impassioned students from KADK came together to design new container-based solutions aimed at improving conditions at refugee centres.

A workshop organised by the Association for Volunteer Architecture Students (Foreningen for Frivillige Arkitektstuderende) resulted in a number of creative solutions to convert shipping containers for use in refugee centres. Many ideas were outlined during the first workshop, the intention being for the best ideas to be realised. At a follow-up workshop in November, students will develop the best of these proposals in collaboration with a number of volunteer organisations (NGOs).
