Crafts in Glass and Ceramics

Short about Crafts in Glass and Ceramics

The Royal Danish Academy’s Programme of Crafts in Glass and Ceramics is one of Europe’s leading educational institutions in this field.

This Professional Bachelor programme is rooted in the Danish tradition of craftsmanship with glass and ceramics. We investigate processes, materials and practice. Students develop their artistic voices and a professional language throughout the three-and-a-half years of education. We have excellent facilities for both analogue and digital technologies to use when working with the materials, glass and ceramics.

In this programme, students address, discuss and develop their individual ways of working and interacting with the materials. We also explore different business ideas and business models.

Bachelor project 2023

The exhibition Bachelor Project '23 presents bachelor projects made by 13 students from the professional bachelor programme 'Crafts in Glass and Ceramics'.
