Object Conservation

Preservation of objects of archaeological or historical origin

Short about Object Conservation

In the Cultural Historical programme at the Conservation School we tackle the preservation of processed objects of an archaeological or historic origin. As a rule the materials are: metals, glass, ceramic, textiles, hide, leather, bones, teeth and amber.

The curriculum of the Bachelor’s degree programme in the Cultural Historical department of the School of Conservation is designed to provide a broad theoretical and practical introduction to the most important areas of the conservation and restoration of cultural-historical objects.
