Short about Spatial Design

Spatial Design operates in the encounter between architecture and design. It is a spatial artistic discipline, which deals with the development of innovative and sustainable settings for human habitats.

The Bachelor’s programme involves the study and testing of experimental design methods focusing on the transformation and re-programming of existing buildings and spaces. It is about configuring spaces, spatial sequences and spatial components into entities, which disseminate artistic quality and utility value, at the same time representing elements of an overall cultural identity based on aesthetics, technology and ethics.

The programme is supported by the concept of a process, in which space is created from the inside out in connection to both context and human presence.
