The project is a Danish-Norwegian collaboration betwen Miranda Tengs Brun and Josefine Gilbert
Jespersen that shows a personal interpretation of the concept of escapism. The desire to escape
from one world to another. Our work consists of a textile collection intended for womens wear,
that in combination visualize the magnetic tension that occurs when something concrete meets or
transforms into something abstract.
By using different analogue and digital printing techniques, and combining contrasting textile materials
we've created an dynamic textile collection that hopefully inspires the spectator to explore our different
ways to visualize movement and a meeting between two expressions.
