The dining table sets the scene for various family activities and most dining tables can be extended to accommodate more people. Such a dining table extension often results in inadequate light at the end of the table.

This insight has led Rune Flensted to design a lamp, which can easily be adjusted to different situations. The minimal design is a result of intensive explorations to find the right balance between function and aesthetics. The focal point was to make the lamp simple yet effortless and intuitive to adjust in order to ensure that the Glacier’s full potential will be utilised – creating a better light for everyone around the table.
