Today our food is grown far from our homes where tons of hazardous pesticides and energy are being used. Unfortunately, vegetables loses much of their nutrients during the journey and what hasn't been sold end up on rubbish heaps.
Instead of few companies growing a lot, a lot of people can grow a little. By cultivation at home, you get nutritious salad, all year around, at a fraction of the cost. You do not even need soil. I can´t promise that you will be self-sufficient in vegetables, but I can promise that your life will be much greener.
