"The state is invisible; it must be personified before it can be seen, symbolized before it can be loved, imagined before it can be conceived".
– Michael Waltzer

The project is entitled Make it Real – All Aesthetics are Political, and was created with the intention of being staged as a play to create a discussion around the aesthetics of international peace operation in the nation-building process in Kosovo.

The manuscript acts as a frame for the theatrical and constructed reality of modern state and nation-building. Surpassing the representational aspects of language, the dialogue and image is structurally illegible and serves to address a discussion about design, power, sovereignty, common borders, war and peace.

The project is made in collaboration with Emilia Michalsdotter.
