The world as workplace
A design education provides you with the chance to work in a range of specialist areas. We wish to play a leading role in relation to the development of Denmark as a design society, in which design skills are widely deployed in both the public and private sectors. We also wish to make a contribution to the world around us with commitment, critical thinking, analysis and the design of both products and services.
An increasing number of industries need designers to show new ways of doing things and to think innovatively. This provides you with a wealth of challenges and opportunities in terms of working as a designer. You can start a professional career in the world of design, the corporate world or the public sector.
Graduates from the School of Design find jobs in a wide range of areas, in which design, innovation, research and innovation play a role: e.g. in major companies, an established design firm, web or media companies, the film, TV and games industry, in the advertising industry, production companies or in communications and design consultancy.
