Offer of study

Study place
28 July KADK will mail you, if we can offer you a study place. The mail will be sent before 12 CET. It is a Saturday, and the Study Administration is closed, but you can get in touch with our admissions team by mailing us your phone number, and we will call you. Use this mail address: BA-optagelse@kadk.dk.

29 July (Sunday) our office is closed, but we will answer phones and mails again from 30 July.

You have until 3 August to decide whether you will accept our offer of a study place. If you choose to accept it, you must mail us before August 3 with your acceptance.

In case you decline our offer or you do not meet the deadline, your study place will offered to the applicant next in line.

Information on how and when to do what will be repeated in our mail to you on 28 July.

If KADK cannot offer you a study place, you will receive an e-mail from KOT (Den Koordinerede Tilmelding) in your E-boks (danish applicants only). Otherwise you receive a letter to the adress you applied with.

In case you have not heard from either KADK or KOT on 28 July, we recommend that you 1) check your spam filter and 2) contact us. Be advised that it must be before deadline: 3 August.


Offer of a stand by place

Stand by place

28 July KADK will mail you, if we can offer you a stand by place in stead of a study place.

With a standby place, you are on the waiting list and may be offered a study place until 13 August. If you receive and accept the standby place, but are not offered a study place this year, you are guaranteed a spot next year if you apply. Please notice that you have to apply on optagelse.dk again next year in order to make use of your stand by place.You will receive information on what to do in the e-mail you receive.

Introductory days in August

The information below only applies to the design programme: Craft – Glass and Ceramics at Bornholm.

 

The introductory events for the Craft programme is scheduled before start of the first teaching module. It is optional, but we recommend that you participate, as much information, incuding information about studies is passed on during the introductory days.

The precise schedule for the introductory days appears in the attached file. We start Wednesday 29 August and continue Thursday and Friday.

First class with mandatory attandance is 3 September.

Information about study start for the programmes in architecture and design, taught in Danish, in Copenhagen you will find on the Danish section of our website.

The first day of tutoring is September 3, 2018, when module 1 of the autumn semester is opened. However the school usually starts prior to this - see introductory events section. We will inform you by mail, if you are offered a study place.
