Practice report: Digital Design Strategies and the Sustainable Agenda
An afternoon of short talks on the development of digital architecture for students and professionals. Organised by Centre for Information Technology and Architecture, Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture.
Speakers
Josh Mason - aedas, London
Andreas Eggertsen - Snøhetta, Oslo
Volker Mueller - Bentley, Research Director for Computational Design
Christophe Barlieb - cdmb, Berlin
Martin Tamke - CITA, Copenhagen
CITA presents an afternoon of short talks by international practitioners working at the cutting edge of digital design and architecture. This informal seminar show cases work in progress and discusses the tools and design strategies that have been developed. We will discuss the capacity of new computational systems to answer today’s increasingly complex requirements towards the built environment and how architectural design changes as parametric design and the integration of analysis through simulation becomes possible.
