Udstilling: Ouroboros
Ouroboros is an abstract manifest and reflection of our school KADK’s massive material consumption. The Ouroboros is symbolized by a serpent ingesting its own tail. In an eternal cycle of renewal, our objective was to push peoples behavior towards sustainability, through design. The result of our project is manifested in the Ouroboros.
We want to implement the Ouroboros as a working philosophy at KADK. By making 3 inspirational installations of the material richness. Our sculptures are made entirely of neglected materials. Each sculpture is a cyclical construction representing 1 of the 3 most consumed materials at KADK which is 01 paper, 02 textiles, 03 plastic.
We hope the Ouroboros will inspire the students and teachers to think cyclical and creating better material solutions for the future designers.
OUROBOROS er lavet af:
Carl Würst, Martha Abild og Sophia Khaled (studerende fra Mode og Tekstil) samt Fie K. Mortensen og Noa Gammelgaard (studerende fra Visuel kommunikation).
