Forskning og samarbejde

1/11

Computation in Architecture connects to a broad network of leading researchers, practitioners and manufacturers in Denmark and internationally.

The primary collaboration for Computation in Architecture is with CITA: Centre for IT and Architecture. CITA’s current national and EU-funded research projects serve as thematic points of departure for design-led research-informed studies, as well as opportunities to be directly involved in research production. Students are directly supervised by CITA’s researchers who share insight into the newest design methods, technologies and theoretical frameworks.

The programme connects to a broad set of industry-based collaborators including 3XN and GXN, Henning Larsen and BIG. Each year includes a scheduled set of industry visits, to tour specific offices, learn how they utilise computation within their design practice, and to meet practice leaders and create network.  In 2023 we visited 3XN, Vandkunsten, HLA, Stykka and Lundgaard og Tranberg.
