Forskning og samarbejde

'Urbanism & Societal Change' works both in Denmark and abroad, utilising a local and international network of practitioners, researchers, experts, authorities, institutions and NGOs that are either ongoing collaborators, or engaged specifically according to the particular problematics of a semester theme.

Internationally, the programme has a close relationship with a network of academics and practitioners based at schools and institutions such as the ETH Zürich in Switzerland; TU-Delft and the Berlage Institute in the Netherlands; Hong Kong University;  Harvard University and Columbia University in the US.

Locally, all of the programmes at the Institute of Architecture, Urbanism & Landscape including Urbanism & Societal Change, have had collaborations with the Municipality of Copenhagen, which allows in-depth insight into the agendas and strategies of one of the most influential and leading urban actors – as well as one of the largest clients of architecture in Denmark.

Within the Institute and the Academy, Urbanism & Societal Change takes full advantage of the range of areas of expertise amongst its researchers and practitioners – and it is this expertise that is often relevant to supporting the development of the proposals.
