The fashion industry is the second most polluting industry in the world. According to Vaso Vukovic sustainable luxury products may be the respond to the prevailing purchase-and-throw-away culture.

"Ecomaterials don't make it alone. An ecobag only enduring 6 months is not as sustainable as the bag used and loved for 20 years" Vaso Vukovic says. He works with slow fashion as his principle where durability, quality and style of timeless shaping walk hand in hand with sustainable materials.

Conventional leather production is polluting and allergenic. For the collection, the designer has co-developed vegetable tanned leather free of metals with an Italian tannery. "The progressive luxury segment esteems global responsibility and aesthetics alike. My goal is to combine the two" Vaso Vukovic concludes.
