International Collaboration

About International Collaboration

From New York to China. From Morocco to Bornholm, Architecture, design and conservation are moving across borders, and the world’s challenges are global. Therefore, our students and staff are involved in exchange with the whole world. International collaboration is an integral part of the Royal Danish Academy’s work as a Scandinavian academy with global scope.

Strong, international collaboration enhances the academy’s position as an international academy. It makes the Royal Danish Academy competitive in a global context, makes the global job market accessible and attracts resources and talent from all over the world.

We want to strengthen our position as an internationally oriented academy by ensuring staff and students the best opportunities for collaboration and exchange across national borders. That is why we are involved in a range of international networks and collaborative relationships with institutes and centres around the world.
