Bachelor’s degree in conservation

The Bachelor degree course is an independent programme, which provides both professional competence and equips you to further your studies with a Master’s degree.

The course provides a basic knowledge of active and preventive conservation, restoration, history of the subject, relevant related humanities and natural sciences, and relevant crafts, enabling you to deploy the subject’s theories and methods. Conservation requires the use of both head and hands. So it is vital that you enjoy using both at the same time.

On successful completion of an Bachelor degree, you are awarded the title: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Conservation.

We admit 50 students on to the Bachelor programme. All of them become part of an inspiring and vibrant academic environment with workshops, laboratories, library and dedicated teachers.
